Stepping into the quaint Ecola Creek Lodge took us back in time to its origins in 1946, enveloping us in a cozy atmosphere. Our room, though on the older side, was spacious, clean, and exuded a sense of tranquility. The lodge's superb water pressure in the shower was a refreshing surprise, perfect after a day exploring the adjacent beach and dunes. Being just a short stroll from the charming town center allowed us to immerse ourselves in the local culture without feeling overwhelmed by tourists. The staff's warm welcome made us feel right at home, and the friendly accommodation provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the beds were incredibly cozy, and the option to stream movies on the TV in the evenings added a homely touch. Our drive from San Francisco to Vancouver was dotted with memorable stops, but Ecola Creek Lodge stood out as a hidden gem along the Oregon coast. Surrounded by scenic splendor and offering a secluded sandy beach, it was truly a haven for nature lovers like us. Our favorite spot on the journey so far, the lodge's charm and value for money made it an unforgettable experience.
